Each piece that I produce is handmade and takes approximately a month to complete from start to finish. As a result I do not create enough new pieces in a year to justify selling on Etsy or other internet marketplaces. I do a couple of in-person rennaissance festivals each year, but other than that I rely on customers contacting me directly to make purchases or engage in commissions. I will gladly mail out any piece so long as the purchaser resides in a local that allows for shipping of bladed weapons.
Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to me. I do not want anyone to own a fantasy blade that they do not truly treasure as much as I do. All purchases come with a 7-day money back satisfaction guarantee. If you are not fully satisfied simply contact me within seven days of receiving your blade and let me know you wish to return it. The purchaser is only responsible for return shipping of the item and I will issue a full refund of the purchase price upon receiving the returned item in its original condition.
NOTE TO CUSTOMERS: Although all blades constructed by The Guild of the Gilded Hilt are fully functional weapons, the inclusion of certain natural materials can make them dangerous for use in combat weapons training or for use on materials not normally meant to be cut by a blade. These are pieces of functional art and are designed for costuming, reenactments, renaissance fairs, and as heirloom collectables. Use of these weapons outside of their intended purpose may cause injury or death.
LEGAL: These items may only be purchased by individuals 18 years of age or older. Before purchasing you are expected to educate yourself as to any local laws or ordinances regarding weapons with blades in excess of 12 inches. The purchaser is fully responsible for being in accordance with any such applicable laws or ordinances in their place of residence.
