The Story of Autumn’s End:

An elven short-blade forged by the woodland elves and said to be endowed with the power of the changing seasons.  Enemies cut by Autumn’s End suffer from a bone-chilling cold that slowly spreads from the wound throughout the victim’s body.  Legend says that all cut by the blade will fall, like the forest’s leaves at autumn’s end

Actual Design and Construction:

The blade was forged by Windlass Steelcrafts using 1085, High Carbon Steel.  I slightly altered the profile around the ricasso and hand-etched the blade’s name in elven script. The leaf motif, etched into the ricasso continues onto the face of the brass ‘S’ guard.  The handle is carved from African Zebrawood and completes the hidden tang design.

 Sheath Construction:

The Sheath is constructed of 4-5 oz premium veg tan leather cut to the exact fit of the blade and is hand stitched through a welt at the bottom.  The sheath is tooled with a leafed vine motif on both sides and is stained light brown with black antiquing
